Le travail de Naomi Nakazato explore l’univers digital pour en ressortir de nombreux aspects esthétiques. Les pixels, les déformations, les glitchs, les trames sont mis en résonance avec des sujets traditionnels. L’œuvre de Naomi Nakazato est en somme une mise en dialogue, par le volume et l’image, de deux réalités.
Il est intéressant de noter que la lithographie tient un rôle majeur et singulier dans son oeuvre, car elle est également un élément au service de ses volumes.
Le travail de Naomi Nakazato nous apparaît comme une sorte de mise à jour de l’histoire de l’art sous le prisme de l’esthétique numérique. Elle réalise dans sa production le passage d’un univers à un autre.
