Taylor Stewart, c’est trash. C’est de l’expression brute. Tellement brut. Des formes qui ne passent pas par le langage, c’est de l’ésotérisme pur. Son travail produit des symboles, dialogue avec des figures millénaires et des iconographies profondes. Le médium est un prétexte. L’image crée le volume, le volume crée l’image, il y a un va-et-vient constant. Il n’y a plus de hiérarchie entre les médiums et les formes. C’est un véritable rituel de création. Fait rare, abstraction et figuration peuvent dialoguer ensemble sans nuire au sens ni à la cohérence de son oeuvre. Il y a vraiment une magie du chaos. Le langage s’arrête devant les œuvres et c’est violent.
